Junior Estimator | Tier 2 | Civil Projects

My client is a Tier 2 civil contractor with a large number of projects throughout Sydney. They are considered one of Sydney's leading civil construction names. They have a diverse portfolio of projects on the go, and are on the front foot to bring in more. Due to current workload, they have a need for an experienced Junior Civil Estimator. This role would suit those with min. 1 year in Civil Construction Estimation, especially if you are looking to work closely alongside Senior Estimators to grow your career.

Role:
You will be responsible for:

• Developing tender strategy
• Working with management to prepare and submit presentations to clients
• Traveling to site and attending pre-tender meetings and post-tender reviews
• Working with stakeholders
• Negotiating with suppliers

The Successful Candidate:
You must be able to demonstrate the following:

• A stable career history with reputable civil contractors
• Industry experience in Australia is essential (min 1 year)
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Evidence of working to strict deadlines
• Degree qualified or substantial industry experience
