This tier 1 business are involved in construction, development as well as managing a portfolio of assets worth over $10billion across residential, commercial, industrial & retail. Our client is a hugely respected organisation employing some of the best guys in the construction industry. The business pride themselves on impeccable health & safety as well as environmentlly friendly projects and renowned for their large, complex developments. Currently they have an opportunity for a Project Manager to deliver a $100M+, high rise project in Castle Hill.

Duties are varied and will include:

  • Work within the Programme Delivery Team to manage delivery of project budgets and quality
  • Ensure that internal project controls are achieved and reported on
  • Present all deliverables, scope, budget and timeline in relation to projects in delivery
  • Prepare agendas and take minutes at both internal and client facing project meetings
  • Quality assurance of projects
  • Preparation and submission of fee proposals
  • Account/Framework Management
  • Contract Management and Control
  • Engaging third party suppliers
  • Cost control and invoicing
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to promote the company's services with new and existing clients

Key Skills/Experience Required:

In order to be considered for the role, you must possess the following;

  • A wealth of project management design experience gained from within the construction industry or a construction/design related qualification
  • An understanding of planning and design processes
  • Experience of managing project budgets and schedules
  • The ability to pro-actively identify issues, risks and opportunities and recommend appropriate solutions or actions
  • A technical background would be desirable
  • Proven organizational skills and a demonstrable ability to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities whilst maintaining quality
  • An excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
