Site Manager | Commercial Construction| Melbourne

Denovo recruitment are currently representing a T2 builder with over 30 years’ experience building in the commercial space. Our client focuses on projects within the High Rise/Mixed use, education, health and aged care space and consider themselves “specialists” in large scale projects in these areas up to $100M. They are looking to add an experienced Site Manager to their team for an immediate start.

Key Responsibilities
  • Previous experience as a Site Manager with a recognised Principal Commercial Builder
  • Solid construction experience is essential, and you will have experience in leading a team and managing projects over $20 million
  • Solid ability to manage and motivate trades in a fast-paced environment
  • Trade background required; carpentry preferred 
  • Previous exposure to handling high specification retail construction projects
  • Regular foreman meetings
  • An excellent understanding of QA standards and requirements
  • OH&S Experience
To be successful
  • You will have a strong portfolio of commercial projects in $15-40M range
  • Demonstrated longevity in previous roles or constant projects
  • Computer literate
  • Strong work ethic and team player
  • Experience with structure and detailed finishes
  • Trade or tertiary qualification in construction
  • Genuine passion for delivering high quality builds
  • Safety focused
